Maintaining the philosophy ‘stay ahead or fall behind’

agb Environmental ensures an outstanding level of service from all levels of the business. Enforcing a ‘stay ahead or fall behind’ philosophy, the company ensures it is always expanding its skill set and knowledge base.

To stay ahead, we must invest in our knowledgeable team, and so offering training and development opportunities to ensure we remain market leaders and industry experts.

Not only does this allow the team to develop within, creating a culture of continued learning, but actively encourages development from within. Our ongoing commitment to Continuous Professional Development (CPD) encourages an engagement with professional bodies to ensure that our skill set is continually refreshed and moves with client requirements.

To support this, agb Environmental has played a leading role in the East Land Quality Forum, a professional body dedicated to improving the standards and quality of land based professionals.

Ensuring a safe, efficient and quality orientated approach. Recognising the importance of approved policies, AGB Environmental adheres to a strict high level of service, ensuring compliance to the required governing boards and beyond.

We recognise that the Health and Safety of our employees, contractors and members of the public is critical within the industry sector and work carried out. Ensuring full compliance to the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 and, where appropriate, Construction (Design and Management) Regulations, we meet the requirements needed for site work and land surveying.

This high standard of workmanship is continued throughout everything we do. We not only set a challenging level of quality for those within the company, but also for our contractors. We have a quality management system in place to ensure that our work meets the highest of standards on all projects.

We are actively seeking accreditation for Quality and the Environment, and third party recognition of our safe working practices.

What are Bat Activity Surveys?

Even if you don’t have bat roosting potential on your development site, you may still have habitats that support bat commuting and foraging. This will require a bat activity survey.

When to Consider Land Contamination

With the assessment of potential land contamination being a key part of the planning processes, it is important to consider how best to approach this element of your project.
